Medeama Sporting Club is delighted to announce that first-choice goalkeeper Felix Kyei has signed a two-year contract extension, committing his future to the Mauve and Yellow until January 2029.

Kyei joined Medeama SC from Karela United in January 2023, initially penning a four-year deal set to expire in 2027. His exceptional performances, professionalism, and consistency have made him a central figure in the squad, prompting Management to secure his services for an extended period.

A Pillar of Medeama’s Success:

Since his arrival, Felix Kyei has been instrumental in Medeama’s recent achievements.
Notably:

He played a key role in the club’s historic 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League title, the first in Medeama’s history.

His commanding displays helped propel the team into its maiden CAF Champions League campaign, reaching the group stage of Africa’s elite inter-club competition.

His outstanding form has earned him call-ups to the national Local Black Stars (Black Galaxies).

Kyei’s influence both on and off the pitch continues to strengthen the club’s competitive outlook, and this long-term extension represents Medeama’s confidence in his abilities and leadership in the coming seasons.

Building for the Future:

The club believes that securing the spine of the squad is essential for sustained success, and extending Felix Kyei’s contract is a significant step toward that vision.

Medeama SC congratulates Felix on his new deal and looks forward to achieving greater heights together.
